Unveiling of Christmas Truce memorial

The sculpture at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire was designed by 10-year-old Spencer Turner to mark the centenary of the World War I ceasefire between British and German soldiers in Flanders.
The warring soldiers famously kicked a ball around together during the truce, and English football's three major bodies - the FA, Premier League and Football League - joined with the British Council in holding a competition to design a permanent memorial.
Hodgson said: "It's been aptly emphasised by today's ceremony what part football can play and what football today can do to pay its respects to all the people who died."
FA president Prince William said: "This is a fitting culmination of the Football Remembers programme and will serve as a permanent reminder of one of the key moments of World War I.
"Football then, as now, had the power to bring people together and break down barriers."
